XSNERGY was a heavyweight robot built by the eponymous Team XSYNERGY which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was an invertible, four-wheel drive robot with a box-shaped chassis. It was armed with a spinning ring, which was powered by two motors connected to bearings via belts. These bearings spun and made contact with the outer shell, using friction to power it. The outer ring which featured numerous teeth welded to its outer perimeter in order to attack from different heights. The robot's name adorned its transparent top panel. XSYNGERY lost its only fight of the competition, though this proved notable as it was the first and only recognised battle between two ring spinner designs.
XSYNERGY is not known to have fought again after Season 5.0.

XSNERGY vs. Ringmaster XSNERGY first had to fight Ringmaster its first battle. In this fight, XSNERGY failed to spin, so it was largely a pushing match. Eventually, Ringmaster trapped XSNERGY against the wall and ground away, and it won the fight on a 25-20 judges' decision. this meant XSNERGY was eliminated from the tournament. |
