Wrath was a heavyweight robot built by Todd Mendenhall of Team Revelation which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a red, six-wheeled robot armed with an actuated plow which could lower itself so it could wedge underneath opponents, and then lift them up and over. It performed well as a rookie, winning three fights before losing to OverKill in the Round of 32. Wrath was originally entered into Season 4.0, but it dropped out before the event took place.
Wrath was likely set to debut in Season 4.0, due to its inclusion on the official BattleBots rankings page ahead of the Season 4.0 tournament.[1] It is unknown why it ultimately did not compete in this competition, hto it is listed as "dropped out".
Todd Mendenhall built a middleweight version of Wrath named Wrath Jr., which reached the middleweight quarter-finals. He also built middleweight Garm for Season 3.0, superheavyweight entrant Doom of Babylon for Season 2.0, lightweight Pestilence for Season 1.0, and middleweight multibot SlapPest for the Long Beach 1999 competition.
Wrath was a repurposed version of his famed Panzer Mk series of robots, specifically Panzer Mk 4.5, which also fought at RoboJoust after Season 5.0. The Panzer Mk robots found considerably more success in Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors and Robotica respectively. For more, see Team Revelation.

Wrath vs. OverKill   Wrath gets slammed into the screws by OverKill and simultaneously gets hit by the pulverizer. After Wrath rode up the wedge of OverKill and got hit by the pulverizer as it was slammed into the spikestrip at one point, when Wrath slammed OverKill into the wall, the adjuster became loose and slipped, causing the drive train to pop out. This rendered it a sitting duck, and OverKill pushed it into a pulverizer. OverKill won by KO and This meant that Wrath was eliminated from the tournament. |
