It was the fourth of fifteen Fight Night episodes which determined the Top 32 which would make up the World Championship tournament. The episode saw a total of seven fights, ending with a Main Event between two 0-1 all-stars in HyperShock and Whiplash, with one being forced into a 0-2 record halfway through their Fight Night campaign.
In a return to cold opens, judge Lisa Winter was seen parodying charity advertisements, highlighting cruelty to minibots with commentary from Chris Rose and Kenny Florian as clips of smaller robots being destroyed by larger opponents played in the background.
