Changes: Wedge-O-Matic

Wedge-O-Matic was a lightweight robot which competed in the final three seasons of BattleBots. It was originally a weaponless wedged (Season 3.0) and double wedged ( Season 4.0) robot but it was updated with a horizontal spinning blade for Season 5.0. It did decently in competition winning two battles in its rookie season.

Robot History

Season 3.0

Wedgeomatic3 — Wedge-O-Matic's Season 3.0 appearance.

Wedge-O-Matic's first opponent was Undertow. Wedge-O-Matic won the match by KO and advanced to the final preliminary round, where it faced Hobgoblin LTD. Wedge-O-Matic won on a 28-17 judge's decision and advanced to the televised rounds, where it faced Reaper. Reaper won the match by KO and Wedge-O-Matic was eliminated from the tournament.

Season 4.0

Wedgeomatic sfb01 — Wedge-O-Matic's Season 4.0 appearance.

Wedge-O-Matic's only battle in Season 4.0 was against Pursuer. Pursuer won the match on a 38-7 judge's decision and Wedge-O-Matic was eliminated from the tournament again.

Season 5.0

Wedge-O-Matic was due to fight Ack-Ack! in its first battle of the season, but Ack-Ack! had technical issues and was forced to forfeit. Wedge-O-Matic won by default and advanced to the next preliminary round, where it faced Sublime. Sublime won on a 32-13 judge's decision and Wedge-O-Matic was eliminated once again.
