W.L.O.W. was a lightweight robot built by Team Raptor for the Long Beach 1999 event of BattleBots. It was a white invertible robot armed with a lifting wedge. It performed decently in competition, winning three matches in its only appearance.
W.L.O.W. was revised after the Long Beach 1999 event and turned into Alpha Raptor.
Robot History
Long Beach 1999
W.L.O.W.'s first match was against Tentoumushi. Tentoumushi won the match by crowd vote and W.L.O.W. was now in the loser's bracket, where it faced Knome. W.L.O.W. won the match by KO and advanced to the next round, where it faced Instigator. W.L.O.W. won the match by KO and advanced to the next round, where it faced Stinger. W.L.O.W. won the match by KO and advanced to the next round, where it faced The Crusher. The Crusher won the match by crowd vote and W.L.O.W. was eliminated from the tournament.
W.L.O.W. wasn't finished, however, as it participated the kilobot royal rumble at the end of the tournament.

- W.L.O.W. was the only robot from Team Raptor not to have the 'Raptor' suffix at the end of its name.
