Vortex was a middleweight robot which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a silver wedge-shaped robot armed with a static axe on the rear. It didn't perform well in competition, losing its first match against Musashi.
The team who built Vortex also competed with Kobotsu at the first BattleBots IQ tournament in 2002.
