Vortex was a middleweight robot which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a silver wedge-shaped robot armed with a static axe on the rear that it would use as a thwackbot. It didn't perform well in competition, losing its first match against Musashi.
The team who built Vortex also competed with Kobotsu at the first BattleBots IQ tournament in 2002.
