UpperCut was a heavyweight robot built by Team Coolrobots which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a yellow four-wheeled robot armed with two small vertical spinning discs and a rear spike. It did not perform well in competition, winning one battle before losing to El Diablo Grande in the round of 128. UpperCut was essentially the robot from Season 4.0's "How to Build a BattleBot" section, which builder Christian Carlberg hosted, with added weapons.

Robot History

Season 5.0
UpperCut vs. Toy Car UpperCut's first battle was against Toy Car. Both robots went the distance, but UpperCut won on a 36-9 judges' decision.
UpperCut vs. El Diablo Grande El Diablo Grande pops up UpperCut Next up for UpperCut was El Diablo Grande. However, El Diablo Grande won on a close 24-21 judges' decision, eliminating UpperCut from the tournament.
