Unlicensed Chiropractor was a lightweight robot built by Team In-Theory which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a two-wheel drive robot, both of which were large and exposed, and was armed with an assortment of ramming weapons. Unlicensed Chiropractor did not perform well in competition, losing its only fight to Rob Farrow and Death By Monkeys. According to the team, Unlicensed Chiropractor no longer exists in any capacity.[1]
Unlicensed Chiropractor's team members also featured with Ray Scully and his middleweight RipTide. The team discussed bringing Unlicensed Chiropractor to BattleBots IQ as a multibot.[2] However, this never came to fruition.
Outside BattleBots[]
Team In-Theory's Will Tatman and Matt Szycher also built Hannibal for Nickelodeon Robot Wars.
They would compete at the second North Carolina Robot Street Fight event, going 2-2 with Unlicensed Chiropractor 2, a sequel to the original robot. They would then register for the third North Carolina Robot Street Fight competition with heavyweight Surplus Killed the Radio Star and hobbyweight Look What I Almost Stepped In, it is unknown how well either did in their respective competitions.
