Trial & Error was a superheavyweight robot which competed in Season 4.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
Trial & Error was a cut-off dome shape armed with two triangle-shaped drums powered by winch motors and spikes. It performed poorly in competition, losing its only fight. Trial & Error was succeeded by Impact, also in the superheavyweight division.

Trial & Error's first fright was against The Probe. The Probe immediately got under Trial & Error and lifted it up very high, with the pronged lifter sticking into Trial & Error's opponents unarmored underside. However it could not quite flip Trial & Error over. Instead, The Probe paraded Trial & Error around like a head of a spear. After letting its opponent go, The Probe stayed on Trial & Error all fight long with its slow but strong drive, lifting and slamming it into a wall, whilst never letting Trial & Error spin up its triangular drum. Eventually, late in the match, The Probe finally managed to flip Trial & Error and pushed it into the wall again. The Probe won 44-1.
