Traxx was a middleweight robot built by Team Restless Nights which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was an invertible, tracked robot armed with a static scoop on the front and a rear sideways-swinging hammer. It performed decently in competition, winning two battles before losing to THWAK! in the Round of 64. Traxx was also entered into Season 4.0, but it had unspecified issues and did not compete.Citation?
Outside BattleBots[]
Five years prior to Season 3.0 filming, Traxx originally fought in the US Robot Wars 1996 competition in San Francisco, hosted by Marc Thorpe. Competing under Daniel Goff's ownership, Traxx was armed with a pneumatic spike. It first fought and deafted The General before getting the better of Up & Over in the Middleweight Face-Off semi-finals. This earned it a title-deciding clash withAgamemnon, where it came second best to Dan Danknick's machine after blowing a fuse and becoming immobile.[1]
Traxx would later compete in the Middleweight Melee, which was effectively a five-way Rumble featuring Agamemnon again, as well as Pokey, Satoru Special 3 and Scrappy. It lost this battle and would not return for the 1997 event.
