Tobor Rabies was a middleweight robot built by Team Rabies which competed in Season 2.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a rounded wedge-shaped robot armed with lifting fangs and two axes which would fire from either side. It did not do well in competition, losing its only battle to eventual champion Spaz.

Tobor Rabies vs. Spaz  Tobor Rabies avoids an attack from Spaz.  Both robot are popped by the Hellraisers.   Both robots are stuck under the Hellraisers in the last seconds of the fight. Tobor Rabies' only fight was against thwackbot Spaz. Tobor Rabies moved towards Spaz, who started spinning in place, but was hit by its opponent's spiked arm. Both robots clashed in the center of the BattleBox and started pushing one other. Spaz backed up and began spinning again, but became stuck on the Ramrods. Tobor Rabies approaches as Spaz escaped. Spaz continues spinning and Tobor Rabies tries to push Spaz around the BattleBox. Spaz tried pushing Tobor Rabies, but struggled to do so. It then tried to hit Tobor Rabies with its spiked arm, but missed several times. Spaz's arm momentarily became stuck on the Hellraisers, but it was able to escape. Both robots were then caught under the Hellraisers and drove away before time ran out. Spaz won the fight on a 38-7 judges' decision and Tobor Rabies was eliminated from the tournament. |
