Thwackbots is the collective name for robots which make use of their shape and drive power to bludgeon and pose a threat to their opposition. They typically do not feature separate powered weaponry, though can in rare circumstances.
Types of Thwackbots[]
They can be divided into two distinct categories, based upon how they attack:
Starchild brakes and slams its weapon down on Overhaul.
Torque Reaction[]

Torque reaction thwackbots attack by braking and allowing a mass attached to its main chassis to swing from overhead and slam down onto an opponent.

Sit and Spin[]
The most common type of thwackbot across the history of BattleBots, sit and spin designs allow for robots to spin in place on the spot. They make use of mass protruding from the front, back or side panels of the robot swinging around and hitting an opponent from the side.
