The Juggernaut, affectionately known as The Jug, was a 15lb robot built by Team Elite which fought in the College Division of BotsIQ in 2008 as well as several Rumble at the Rock events.

It was a boxy, two-wheel drive robot with a chamfered front. The Juggernaut was armed with a belt-driven, vertically-mounted disk at the front. The Juggernaut fought a total of six times across the 2007 event, where it earned a 4-2 overall record. The Juggernaut also fought in the 2008 event, but records of its wins and losses are undocumented.

Team Elite and The Juggernaut also competed at R@R4 in April 2009, where it is known to have fought Winchester High School entry Gorilla.

Robot History

Rumble at the Rock 1
The Juggernaut vs. Hawk Bot File:The Juggernaut Hawk Bot KO BotsIQ 2007.png Hawk Bot is flipped and counted out. The Juggernaut made its debut against Hawk Bot. After overturning its opponent early on, Hawk Bot had no way to self-right and lost by knockout.
The Juggernaut vs. Shockwave The Juggernaut's next opponent was Shockwave. The pair went weapon-to-weapon during this fight, with the vertical spinner of The Juggernaut only working intermittently. Shockwave was able to overturn The Juggernaut just over a minute into the fight, warping part of its chassis, and it was unable to right itself. This led to The Juggernaut's first defeat and relegated it to the loser's bracket.
The Juggernaut vs. Xyrus Continuing on in the competition, The Juggernaut fought Xyrus. The Juggernaut returned to winning ways and advanced in the loser's bracket.
The Juggernaut vs. Phoenix Next up for The Juggernaut was Phoenix. The Juggernaut won this fight too and continued on.
The Juggernaut vs. Mini Knightrous The Juggernaut now took on Team Titanium Knights and Mini Knightrous, picking up a third successive win to advance in the tournament.
The Juggernaut vs. VerteX The Juggernaut's sixth opponent was Bloomsburg Area High School's VerteX. The first half of the fight was largely dominated by The Juggernaut as both robots suffered weapon issues throughout. Around a minute in, however, a head-to-head impact led to The Juggernaut's left side drive malfunctioning. This allowed VerteX a route back into the battle, which it ultimately won by judges' decision, eliminating The Juggernaut.

The Juggernaut returned for the 2008 event, where it is known to have fought Blender Mini at some stage in the Mini Class bracket. The result of this fight is not known. It did not place in the Top 3 of its division, meaning it suffered two losses.
Rumble at the Rock 4
The Juggernaut vs. Gorilla The Juggernaut took on Gorilla during this competition, winning by judges' decision. The remainder of its fights are unknown.
