The Cast-Iron Pig was a lightweight robot built by Team Impact which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a box-shaped robot with no active weapon and hinged skirts all around. It performed decently in its only season, reaching the Round of 64 before being eliminated by Wireless Wonder.
Team Impact would also compete in BattleBots with middleweight Bumper.
Outside BattleBots[]
The Cast-Iron Pig also competed at Robocide in 2003, under the name Cast Iron Pig. There, it is known to have defeated Hexy Jr. before losing to Afterburner and Team Killerbotics' 2EZ.[1][2]
