The Baked Muffin was a 15lb robot built by students of Christopher Columbus High School which competed at the inaugural Rumble at the Rock event in December 2007, as well as BotsIQ2008.
It was a four-wheeled robot armed with four static spikes at the front, and three steep, sloped sides. The Baked Muffin was invertible, but found itself being pushed around the arena in its only documented fight at this competition against Plum Robotics' entry, Shockwave.[1]
The Baked Muffin is stated to have returned at BotsIQ 2008. However, shy of a fight against fellow Christopher Columbus High School entry Buzzy Wuzzy, its opponents are not known.
The Baked Muffin's only known fight came against Shockwave. Here, Shockwave was able to push and outdrive The Baked Muffin. The robots needed to be separated at one stage, but following this, Shockwave remained dominant and kept driving The Baked Muffin into the walls, bending its front spikes until the team behind The Baked Muffin tapped out. As it did not place within the Top 3, The Baked Muffin lost at least one more fight in the bracket.

The Baked Muffin faced Buzzy Wuzzy at an unconfirmed stage in the tournament. The results of this fight are unknown at this time. The remainder of Baked Muffin's opponents from this 2008 event are not known.[2]
