Team Scrap Daddy, also known as Team Scrappydoos in Season 5.0, are a retired team which competed in four seasons of Comedy Central BattleBots.
Based in Houston, Texas, the team are best-known for their eponymous Scrap Daddy series of robots, which competed across all four weight divisions. Each robot was low-tech and featured many parts from junkyards. In their debut season, each robot's weight class was referenced within their name, but this was changed for the following three competitions. The robots were often simply known as Scrap Daddy by Mark Beiro and BattleBots themselves, and enjoyed mixed success within their respective divisions.
Outside BattleBots[]
Mark Bradford and fellow team members Ken Crimins and Sean Ham appeared in the first season of TLC's Junkyard Wars which aired in January 2001. Competing under the team name Texas Scrap Daddies, they advanced through their first episode, building hot rods vehicles from scrap, but lost out in the semi-finals when they were tasked with constructing hovercrafts.

Mark Bradford[]
Team captain for all four seasons, scrap artist Mark 'Scrapdaddy' Bradford led all five of their robots.
Having retired from combat robots, Bradford has worked to produce metal sculptures and art exhibitions from scrap metal.[1] One of his pieces, known as Mr. Green, is a 12-foot tall sculpture made from recycled materials.[2] In 2023, he opened a non-profit art space known as The Mark Bradford Project, where numerous sculptures and other art pieces made from scrap are displayed.[3]
He also hosted two shows for the History Channel’s Scrapyard Scavengers.
