Team Hot Mess are an active BattleBots team who debuted in World Championship VII as an alternate with their heavyweight, Doomba.
Comprised of members of various other BattleBots teams, namely Team Mammoth as well as new faces, Team Hot Mess are based in Baltimore, Maryland.
The team are captained by Brice Farrell, who had four seasons of BattleBots experience under his belt prior to creating Doomba. Though Doomba went winless in both of its alternate fights, it did pick up a win by judges' decision in an exhibition against Overhaul to round off its season.

Brice Farrell[]
One of several Team Mammoth members, Brice Farrell left his role as Mammoth's weapon operator in 2022 to become captain of Team Hot Mess.
He also made up part of the comedic entry Battle Royale With Cheese in World Championship III, notably building their minibot Shorter Pounder.
Thuong "Lou" Nguyen[]
Lou Nguyen learned fabrication skills during her three years with Ricky Willems and Mammoth, joining captain Brice Farrell in pursuing a new team in 2022.
Brian Glatfelter[]
Brian Glatfelter is a mechanical designer also from Baltimore, whose specialty came in the CAD of Doomba, as well as teaching other team members how to weld.
Rudy Andriani[]
Rudy Andriani is a certified mechanical engineer who specialized in optimizing Doomba for BattleBots, in spite of its comedic appearance.
Liz Chavarria[]
Liz Chavarria fought in the 2020 season as part of Team PRIDE and Sporkinok. Though not officially credited as part of the team, she also evolved her skills with the Mammoth team in 2021 ahead of her involvement with Doomba. According to the team, she was the driving force behind Doomba's unique application video which ultimately saw them accepted to compete.

Philippe Voyer[]
French-Canadian born Philippe Voyer captained Team OuiOui and Pardon My French in each of its attempts to qualify for BattleBots since 2020. Following a poor display in World Championship VI, his team were not selected to compete in World Championship VII, so he joined Team Hot Mess instead.
