Team Already Broke are an active team who competed in BattleBots World Championship V and BattleBots: Bounty Hunters with their heavyweight robot Slap Box.
The team consists of members of the Yankauskas family, captained by Bryce Yankausakas. They chalked up a 1-1 record during their only season, failing to break into the Top 32 after a win over Sharko and a destructive loss to Tombstone. In BattleBots: Bounty Hunters, they lost their first round match against HUGE.
Team Already Broke are not known to have reapplied for BattleBots following the 2020 season.
Outside BattleBots[]
The team are best known for their 30lb and insectweight robots in local US events such as National Havoc Robot League, where they have run 30lbs Litter Box and Stop Hitting Yourself. The team's 30lb horizontal spinner Tryhard won the 30lb division at the November 2021 NHRL event.
A year prior to World Championship V, the team also entered Slap Box into Robot Ruckus 2019, where they fought several BattleBots robots altered for a sportsman competition.

Bryce Yankauskas[]
Driver and team captain of Slap Box, Bryce is the eldest of the Yankausakas children, aged fourteen at the time of World Championship V. His role within the team was lead designer. His history in the sport stemmed from VEX Robotics, where he is assistant of his makerspace class.
Dominic Yankauskas[]
Dominic Yankauskas was the main machinist for the 250lb robot, fabricating many of its parts. A member of the Gemini team for the 2019 season of BattleBots, Dominic Yankauskas is a regular judge for National Havoc Robot League events.
Cynthia Yankauskas[]
Wife to team captain Dominic Yankauskas, Cynthia operates the team's social media and chief assistant. She has previously competed alongside her husband at NHRL with 30lb horizontal spinner TryHard.[1]
Hunter & Onika Yankauskas[]
The two youngest members of the Yankauskas family, 11-year-old Hunter was the original designer of Slap Box and also attends VEX Robotics clubs within his school. Alongside his father, Hunter assisted with Team Gemini during World Championship V. Onika Yankauskas drove the smaller minibot of Slap Box in the 2020 season. She also drives the team's 30lb robot Dragon Princess at NHRL events where, at the age of nine, she achieved a statement victory over Bots FC's Emulsifier.[2]
