Steel Piranha was a superheavyweight robot which competed at the BattleBots 2004 NPC Charity event.

It was a red shell spinner design with teeth made out of S7 steel. To help the team know which way it was facing ,a directional indicator protruded from its front. Steel Piranha preformed poorly in competition, losing both of its matches against Super Megabyte and Black Knight 3.0.

Outside BattleBots

Steel Piranha was later rebuilt and competed at RoboGames 2005. Here, it was first defeated by Bounty Hunter in the first round before getting a few wins against Buster and OUCH!! before being defeated by Bounty Hunter again.

Steel Piranha vs. Super Megabyte Steel Piranha's first fight came against fellow shell spinner Super Megabyte. It lost this fight and fell into the losers' bracket.
Steel Piranha vs. Black Knight 3.0 Here, Steel Piranha took on Black Knight 3.0, but suffered a second loss and was eliminated.
