Spin Reaper was a lightweight robot built by the eponymous Team Spin Reaper which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.

It was an two-wheel drive, invertible, ring spinner design armed with several yellow cutting teeth mounted high and low on its outer ring. Spin Reaper was predominantly black with a large skull and crossbones adorning its top. It was able to win a single preliminary fight before being eliminated in the Round of 64 by Shrike.

In August 2025, it was revealed that Reddit user ballsandbiscuits had discovered Spin Reaper having been "thrown out" during a neighborhood trash day for big items.

Robot History

Season 3.0
Spin Reaper vs. Critical Condition Spin Reaper's first battle was a preliminary round fight against Critical Condition. Spin Reaper won on a close 25-20 judges' decision and advanced to the TV rounds.
Spin Reaper vs. Shrike Shrike hits the top of Spin Reaper. Here, it faced Shrike. Spin Reaper's opponent managed to damage its top in a way that it stopped moving and it was counted out. Shrike won by KO and Spin Reaper was eliminated from the tournament.
