Sledge-Jammer was a heavyweight robot built by Andy Sauro and Team Fatcats which competed in Seasons 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was an invertible, two-wheel drive thwackbot armed with a dual set of hammers that was exchanged for two flat metal pieces in Season 5.0.
Its name was a play on the word "sledgehammer", which made up the robot's primary weaponry.
Sledge-Jammer's only career wins came by forfeit and as a result, it never passed the Round of 64 in any season.
Outside BattleBots[]
After BattleBots, Sledge-Jammer was rebuilt as a middleweight wedgebot named The Bouncer. It would only compete at Steel Conflict 4 where it would lose to VD5.0.[1]

Sledge-Jammer vs. Spinister   Sledge-Jammer fighting Spinister. One step from the TV rounds, Sledge-Jammer faced Spinister. Andy Sauro's robot charged straight at Spinister, where it got a few hits in, but mostly missed. Spinister spun to deflect Sledge-Jammer and grappled Sledge-Jammer with one of its spikes. Spinister won on a close 25-20 judges' decision and Sledge-Jammer was eliminated from the tournament once again. |
