Sgt. Spanky (later known as Poops McGee) was a heavyweight robot built by Team Overlord which competed in Season 3.0, Season 4.0, and Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was armed with two spinning toothed rings on the top and bottom. It didn't perform well in competition, losing its first match in every season it participated.
The team also entered with superheavyweight The Dude. They also talked about entering Season 5.0 with a middleweight named Cosmic Shame.[1] However, no details of this build exist and it never fought at BattleBots.
Robot History[]
Season 3.0[]
Sgt. Spanky's first and only match in Season 3.0 was against Incoming. Incoming won by KO at 1:10 and Sgt. Spanky was eliminated from the tournament.
Season 4.0[]
Sgt. Spanky's only match in Season 4.0 was against Botknocker-19. Botknocker-19 spun up rather slowly, but Sgt. Spanky did not get to it before it reached full speed. It circled Botknocker-19, hesitating to hit it, with Botknocker-19 just sitting there. Eventually Sgt. Spanky went ahead and rammed it causing a huge crash. Botknocker-19 was slowed but spun back up before Sgt. Spanky struck again. Sgt. Spanky was knocked into the arena wall and stopped moving. Sgt. Spanky was being counted out and Botknocker-19 won by KO. This meant that Sgt. Spanky was eliminated from the tournament again.
Season 5.0[]
Spinister pushes an immobile Poops McGee.
Poops McGee's only match in Season 5.0 was against Spinister. Both robots went straight at each other and Spinister started pushing Poops McGee. Poops McGee started spinning and managed to hit Spinister multiple times before it stopped moving entirely. Spinister backs away and started pushing the immobile Poops McGee two times. As Spinister moved back to the red square, Poops McGee was being counted out and Spinister won by KO at 58 seconds. This meant that Poops McGee was eliminated from the tournament once again.
