Scrap Metal was a lightweight robot which competed in Season 2.0 and 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was originally a circular-shaped robot which was armed with a hinged wedge. It was revised in Season 3.0 to have a front plow and a rear plow. It performed decently in competition, reaching the Round of 32. Scrap Metal returned for Season 3.0 as a middleweight, but lost its first match to T-Wrex.

Scrap Metal vs. Misanthrobot
Scrap Metal watches a trapped Misanthrobot.
Scrap Metal's first ever match in BattleBots was against Misanthrobot. In the match, Misanthrobot went straight at Scrap Metal and Scrap Metal was moving around the BattleBox. Misanthrobot lined up close to Scrap Metal and started spinning. Misanthrobot hit Scrap Metal and Scrap Metal came dangerously close to the pulverizer as Misanthrobot looked on. After this, Misanthrobot started spinning its saw blade. Misanthrobot missed Scrap Metal and drove itself under the spikestrip. Scrap Metal was moving around the BattleBox and got itself caught on the killsaws as Misanthrobot was counted out.
Scrap Metal won by KO at 1:16 and advanced to the Round of 32, where it faced Ziggo.
Scrap Metal vs. Ziggo
Scrap Metal attempts to avoid the spinning Ziggo
Ziggo started spinning its dome as Scrap Metal traveled across the BattleBox. Scrap Metal tried to line up a shot on Ziggo, but then backed off. Ziggo pursued and hit Scrap Metal's front wedge, bending it. Scrap Metal moved over to the killsaws in case Ziggo followed. Ziggo waited and then attacked Scrap Metal when it came back around the side. This impact ripped Scrap Metal's wedge halfway off. Scrap Metal moved around a bit and Ziggo hit Scrap Metal again. This time, the front wedge was torn off and the rest of the Scrap Metal was thrown to the other side of the BattleBox.
Scrap Metal gets turned into scrap by Ziggo.
Ziggo accidentally knocked itself into the killsaws. Scrap Metal was barely moving and Ziggo moved in and hit Scrap Metal again, knocking loose the battery pack inside Scrap Metal, who stopped moving. This last impact also stopped Ziggo from spinning and Scrap Metal was being counted out. Ziggo won by KO at 2:27 and Scrap Metal was eliminated from the tournament.
Because it got destroyed by Ziggo, Scrap Metal couldn't participate the lightweight consolation rumble at the end of the tournament.
Season 3.0[]
Scrap Metal's only match in Season 3.0 was against T-Wrex in the first preliminary round. As Scrap Metal didn't move due to radio receiving issues, T-Wrex delivered a number of hits from its tail. Scrap Metal was counted out and T-Wrex won by KO. This meant that Scrap Metal was eliminated from the tournament again.
