Robot History[]
Season 5.0[]
RoboLoco's first match was against Alcoholic Stepfather. When the match began, RoboLoco gained the upper hand, tearing off the right pickaxe as well as a mecanum wheel on Alcoholic Stepfather. In the latter impact however, RoboLoco's weapon belt broke apart and came off, disabling the bar and leading to a pushing match. Fortunately for RoboLoco, Alcoholic Stepfather lost the other axe on its own, preventing any chance of Alcoholic Stepfather pounding away to rack up points. Still, RoboLoco was pushed around by Alcoholic Stepfather for the rest of the fight. Nevertheless, RoboLoco came out on top with a 25-20 judges' decision due to the damage it caused early on, and it moved on to the next round, where it faced The Brainsters of Triskellian.
However, The Brainsters of Triskellian had some issues in the pits, and thus was forced to forfeit. RoboLoco moved onto the next round, where it faced Steel Reign.
When the match began, RoboLoco waited for Steel Reign to charge into the opposing square, where it dished out a few hits on the thick rear ram. This didn't cause much damage, however, and RoboLoco's bar was stopped with ease. After being shoved into the spikestrip momentarily, RoboLoco tried to move out of the way to spin back up, hitting the spikestrip in the process. When it finally got it back up to speed, RoboLoco struck again in the rear, but it still did not cause much damage. RoboLoco struck steel Reign again, this time on the side. RoboLoco ran off to get its weapon back to full speed and struck the side again, still causing little damage. Roboloco then struck the right rear of Steel Reign with its blade up to full speed, but all that did was cause RoboLoco to bounce off, so it immediately got pushed from behind into the spikestrip, where it got pinned for several seconds before being let go. RoboLoco then started getting attacked by Steel Reign's drum, getting hit and kicked up on the right wheel. RoboLoco immediately retaliated with a couple shots on the rear, chipping away tiny pieces of polycarb. RoboLoco then backed off to get its bar back up to speed before striking the right side of Steel Reign, causing both bots to bounce off. RoboLoco then struck a charging Steel Reign before the thresher bot maneuvered to the back and pushed RoboLoco right into the wall with its bar spinning. RoboLoco soon delivered several shots to the rear before Steel Reign jammed it up and pushed it into the spikestrip under an inactive pulverizer. RoboLoco continued to deliver ineffective shots to the rear and the sides, while Steel Reign continued to charge at the blade until the time ran out. Due to the fact that Steel Reign managed to not only outmaneuver RoboLoco, but also stop the spinning bar numerous times with ease, Steel Reign won on a 37-8 Judges' decision, eliminating RoboLoco from the competition.
Outside BattleBots[]
After BattleBots ended, RoboLoco would go on to compete in ROBOlympics 2004 as well as RoboGames 2007. In 2004, a new design was created for the competition under the name Robo Loco 2004. This design had the same overall shape with a stronger spinning bar. RoboLoco would go on to be beaten by Tombstone and then eliminated from the competition by OUCH!!.
In its return in 2007, RoboLoco ended up with a similar run of success by first being beaten by Vladiator and then by The Judge.

Trivia[]
- RoboLoco bears a great resemblance to Tombstone, as they were both two wheeled horizontal offset bar spinners.
- Interestingly, RoboLoco was built well before Tombstone, pre-dating Tombstone's upbringing by 2 years.
- Even more interestingly, they got to face each other once in ROBOLympics 2004, which also happens to be the competition in which Tombstone made its debut.
