Robert Beiner (December 3, 1950 - February 2, 2016) was an American sports director who both directed and simultaneously assisted in the production of Comedy Central BattleBots from 2000 until 2002.

On February 3, 2016, it was announced through the BattleBots Facebook and Twitter pages that Beiner had passed away at the age of 65.[1][2]

Born in New York, Robert Beiner graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor's degree in speech and theater, before landing work producing for ABC Sports - notably Monday Night Football and their coverage of the Olympic Games.

In the 1980s and 90s, Beiner's involvement in the American sports industry spread to producing Friday Night Fights on the USA Network and ESPN. From then, he moved to mixed martial arts, producing for Bellator and Al Haymon's Premiere Boxing champions telecasts on the NBC Sports network. He held the role of senior co-ordinating producer and vice president of Bellator mixed martial arts from 2011 until his passing.

Founded in 1995, Beiner owned and was president of the production company Our Vision.
