Prompt Critical was a superheavyweight (formerly heavyweight) robot built by Ken and Chuck Russell of Team Prompt Critical and competed in Season 1.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was set to enter the Long Beach event in 1999, evidenced its inclusion on the fan brochure handed out at the event[1], but withdrew.
It was a large six-wheeled build armed with a rotating turret similar to Robot Wars competitor Evolution. For Season 1.0, Prompt Critical sported a black and red camouflage aesthetic in its only BattleBots appearances. Prompt Critical stalled out in its first match against Mechadon, but managed to return for the Superheavyweight Royal Rumble.
Ken Russell would later build the demonstration robot Russell's Paradigm.
