Not to be confused with the Amazon streaming service, Prime Video.
PrimeTV, also known simply as Prime, is a television network which aired Comedy Central BattleBots in New Zealand.
Although the seasons aired are unknown, BattleBots aired every Wednesday at 8:30pm local time, before moving to Sunday 1:30pm and 6:30pm timeslots, as advertised on the BattleBots website at the time.[1][2] According to a September 2001 edition of Poptronics, the show was already airing on PrimeTV at the time of publication.[3] Earlier captures of the BattleBots website suggest PrimeTV may have already been airing the show as early as February that year.[4]
Outside BattleBots[]
PrimeTV is a free-to-air television channel which typically airs imports from Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. It was owned by the now-defunct Prime Media Group, which became PRT Company Limited in January 2022.
A delayed timeshift channel was launched in 2017, named Prime Plus 1.
