Pincer was a superheavyweight robot designed by Team LOGICOM that was being built for Season 5.0 of BattleBots[1]. It was built from Team LOGICOM's Robotica entry, Mechacidal Maniac. The robot was planned to have the same unique steering system and large chassis as Mechacidal Maniac, but would then be fitted with a large pair of horizontal crushing jaws on the top as a weapon. These jaws were also planned to have adjustable height as well. This weapon was to be powered by a 9 HP 110cc two-stroke gas-powered engine.

During the course of building Pincer, the team began to encounter problems regarding finishing it on time and also making the 340lbs weight limit. It was proposed at one point to make the Pincer into a demonstration bot. However, this idea would not be fully carried out due to time issues, and Pincer would not fight in BattleBots. It is unknown if the build was ever completed.
