Paralyzer Pete was a heavyweight robot built by students from Purdue University-Fort Wayne which competed Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a pyramid-shaped robot armed with an overhead spinning blade. It didn't perform well as a rookie, losing its first and only battle.
Its name could be a pun off of one of Battlebox Builder Peter Lambertson's nicknames, "Pulverizer Pete". Another possible etymology origin is Purude's mascot, "Purdue Pete".

Paralyzer Pete's first and only match was against Wrath. In this match, Paralyzer Pete got slammed and rammed into the spikestrip by Wrath many times. Wrath won on a 37-8 judges' decision and Paralyzer Pete was eliminated from the tournament.
