One Tin Soldier was a superheavyweight robot built by its eponymous Team One Tin Soldier which competed in Season 2.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a two-wheel drive, armorless robot made largely from square box tubing. For weaponry, One Tin Soldier was armed with two camshaft-driven spears which would continuously strike an opponent. One Tin Soldier lost its only fight against War Machine and did not return for future competitions.

One Tin Soldier vs. War Machine  One Tin Solider gets hit by the killsaws.  One Tin Soldier being hammered by the pulverizer. One Tin Soldier's first and only bout was against War Machine. Both robots drove out and One Tin Soldier hit War Machine with its spikes, doing no damage. One Tin Soldier was dominated by War Machine after that as War Machine simply drove One Tin Soldier around, slamming it into the wall, pushing it into the killsaws and the pulverizer. One Tin Soldier lost drive power in one wheel eventually, and then time ran out. War Machine won the fight on an unanimous 45-0 judges' decision, eliminating One Tin Soldier from the tournament. |
