Minion was one of nine BattleBots competitors produced by Jakks Pacific in 2001 as part of their Battle Bashers line of toys.
It was based on the Season 2.0 build of Minion, evident by its primary weapon and the placement of sponsorship logos down the back and sides.
As with other toys in the range, Minion had a trigger button which, when activated, would 'explode' the robot. In Minion's case, the cover protecting its motor will lift up and the side panels will pop outwards.
