MicroVore was a middleweight robot built by Team Shrapnel which fought in two seasons of Comedy Central BattleBots.

Its team were best known for their much more successful heavyweight, MechaVore, which MicroVore was a half-size replica of. Like MechaVore, MicroVore was a long, four-wheeled robot with a horizontal spinning disk at the front capable of causing serious damage to opponents. MicroVore did not fair well in battle, however, going winless across two seasons. The robot was retired shortly after the cancelation of Comedy Central BattleBots.

Robot History[]

Season 4.0[]

MicroVore vs. ZiggZagg

MicroVore fought ZiggZagg in its first fight of the season. However, ZiggZagg fit just under Microvore's disk, preventing the spinner from damaging the Team Shrapnel robot. ZiggZagg was therefore able to have its way with MicroVore, slamming it into walls and lifting so its opponent's disk hit the ground. MicroVore then had an impact failure and was knocked out.

Season 5.0[]

MicroVore vs. WulfBane (Forfeit)

MicroVore was scheduled to fight WulfBane, but it was unable to pass safety inspection despite Team Shrapnel's repeated attempts, and were forced to forfeit.
