Megaweights, also known as Megaweight Walkers and Mega Walkers was a conceptualized weight division for the BattleBots NPC Charity Open held between June 29 - July 4, 2004.

It was unique in the idea that, as its name suggests, it was exclusive to walking robots. Megaweight robots could weigh up to 500lbs and, according to the MMER website advertising the division, could have either been combat robots or simply exhibition pieces.

"The format for the walking robots will be more or less up to the builders. Since we are showcasing a new class we want to do what the builders want to do. You can fight the robots or just show off what it can do. The mega walker class will be eligible for the drawing to win the Harley. We will also have prizes and awards for the class. We would like you help in how we judge this part of the event. We have some ideas but would welcome builder input on this one."
— Information on the class, as per the MMER website[1]

It is not known whether any robots applied for this division prior to its cancelation. Though it has not come to fruition in the years since, the idea of a dedicated 250lb walker division has been teased by Trey Roski and Greg Munson as part of the BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon live show. However, it is believed that these would fall under the current heavyweight ruleset due to the complexity involved in manually transporting robots significantly heavier than 250lbs.
