It offers on-demand streaming to paid subscribers, with premium subscriptions offering high definition, the ability to download shows, ad-free viewing and multi-platform streaming.
In 2023, it was announced that Discovery and HBO Max would be combining to form 'Max', as a direct result of the merger of Discovery Inc. and WarnerMedia. However, discovery+ ultimately remained and the newly named Max was launched in May 2023, automatically migrating existing customers.
