Matador was a middleweight robot built by students of Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart which competed at BotsIQ 2007 and 2008.

It was a two-wheel drive, wedge-shaped robot with a drum spinner at the rear. Matador is known to have fought at least twice during the 2007 event, against Overlord and A Series of Tubes. A rebuilt version returned the following year, sporting a bulkier, less sloped shape, but the same design principle. There, it is known to have battled and lost to Storm.

BotsIQ 2007 Please note that the order of the following fights is unknown, as documentation on the event itself is either limited or non-existent. This is typically true of untelevised events such as BattleBots IQ and those sanctioned by the BattleBots name.
Matador vs. A Series of Tubes Matador took on A Series of Tubes during the 2007 event. It lost this fight after becoming immobilized.
Matador vs. Overlord Matador also fought Overlord, who it defeated after Overlord's drive suddenly stopped working.
BotsIQ 2008
Matador vs. Storm Matador in the arena while fighting Storm. Matador's second documented loss came against Storm, where it became stuck on the arena and was subsequently counted out.
