MantaRay was a superheavyweight robot built by Team Think Tank that competed in Season 3.0 and Season 4.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was originally a robot shaped like a manta ray armed with two spinning flywheels. It appeared to be able to lower the top armor and impale with the spike as well. This version lost its first battle, so it was rebuilt as an invertible, four wheeled machine with no active weaponry. This robot also lost its first fight.

Season 3.0[]
MantaRay's first ever fight was against Phere. Phere immedietly got its spinning wedged dome underneath MantaRay and ripped the weapon chain off of MantaRay. Phere's dome wasn't spinning fast enough to do any further damage, but MantaRay stopped moving and was counted out.
Season 4.0[]
MantaRay's first fight was against Fantom Thrust. Manta Ray appeared to slow down as the match progressed, allowing Fantom Thrust to get a couple of hits. While the Fantom Thrust didn't have the speed for a good ramming attack, and its spear weapon was not effective, it scored points anyway by controlling the match. In the end, Fantom Thrust won a 27-18 judge's decision, and MantaRay was eliminated from tournament.
