Machiavelli was a middleweight robot built by Team Fear which competed in two seasons of Comedy Central BattleBots.
In each of its appearances, Machiavelli was a four-wheeled, invertible robot with a box-shaped, bare metal chassis. It lacked active weaponry, instead using angled metal plates at the front to control its opponents. Though unconfirmed, its name likely derives from that of the Italian author Niccolò Machiavelli. Machiavelli advanced through its first round battle after its opponent forfeited, but it then lost out to The Orlando Commando.
After a season away, Machiavelli returned armed with a hinged wedge at the front for Season 5.0, where it lost its first and only battle to Scrap Daddy Flipskanker.
