Lug Nutz, also spelled Lug Nuts, was a heavyweight robot built by Team Balls of Steel which competed in Season 2.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a six-wheeled, wedge-shaped robot armed with two, rear-mounted spinning bars. Attached to the four ends of each spinner were trailer hitches attached to flails, meant to act as bludgeoning devices. In Lug Nutz's only season, the team encountered severe electrical problems with their robot, and were forced to forfeit their battle against KillerHurtz.
After Season 2.0, Lug Nutz was retired. The team returned for Season 3.0 with a superheavyweight robot Ballbreaker, which made it into the BattleBox but lost its only fight.
