Lee Reherman (July 4, 1966 - March 1, 2016) was an American actor who served as a ring announcer and commentator for the inaugural BattleBots event in Long Beach, California. It was aired live on ZDTV in 1999.

His role was split after the Long Beach event, with longstanding ring announcer Mark Beiro taking over from the Las Vegas event that same year, and Dan Danknick and Larry Michael becoming the show's first commentary pairing.

Outside BattleBots[]

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Lee Reherman played college football as an offensive lineman. In 1988, he even attended the Miami Dolphins training camp, but was not selected for their team. He instead pursued a doctorate in economics at UCLA, but left mid-way through to pursue a career in film instead.

Reherman made a name for himself on the television show American Gladiators as "Hawk". His 6'4" frame made him a recurring character, one which he held from 1993 until 1996. He also represented the United States in the spin-off International Gladiators, again as "Hawk". Reherman also had a career as a TV personality, hosting SPEED's Hot Rod TV as well as Forza Motorsport Showdown in 2007.

He also lent his voice to several video games, namely Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Dead Rising 3.

On March 1, 2016, Reherman sadly passed away aged 49 from an unknown cause.
