Jersey Devil was a middleweight robot which competed in the final two seasons of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was an invertible wedged octagon-shaped robot which was armed with four spikes so the robot could deal damage as it spun in place. There were plans to add a lifting arm[1], but no signs of this are shown on the final design. It didn't perform well in competition, losing its first match in both appearances.
The team that built Jersey Devil also built BattleRat and American Justice, both of which were much more successful.

Jersey Devil vs. TriDent Jersey Devil's first and only match was against TriDent. TriDent rammed Jersey Devil several times and Jersey Devil tried a defensive spin, but to no avail. TriDent didn't land any solid hits after that, only glancing shots and pushes. Due to Jersey Devil spending the whole match running away, TriDent won the fight on a 30-15 judges' decision and Jersey Devil was eliminated from the tournament. |

Jersey Devil vs. Mirror Image Jersey Devil's first and only match was against Mirror Image. Mirror Image won the fight on a close 24-21 judges' decision and Jersey Devil was eliminated from the tournament again. |
