JC Slammer was a heavyweight robot that competed at Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a silver parallelogram-shaped robot with no active weaponry, powered by 2 golf cart motors resulting in a top speed of 25 mph. It won one battle in its only season before being eliminated.
The team who built JC Slammer was affiliated with J.R. Automation, a massive long running automation company.
The name is most likely a pun on famous 90s rap artist MC Hammer

JC Slammer rams 8 Ball into the entrance ramp.
JC Slammer first fought 8 Ball. After constantly shoving 8 Ball around at several points, it won on a 44-1 judges' decision and moved on to face Warhead. After tossing itself about with its spinning dome, Warhead landed a huge blow on the side of JC Slammer, causing sparks to fly. It eventually hit JC Slammer again, tearing off the front of its wedge, but the impact caused Warhead to land on its side.
JC Slammer gets its wedge ripped off by Warhead
It used its wings to self right and continued to attack JC Slammer. However, after another huge impact, Warhead went flying across the BattleBox on its side, landing on its wheels. This impact seemed to stop the spinning dome, allowing JC Slammer to ram Warhead into the Spikestrip with what remained of its wedge. That slam into the Spikestrip appeared to have taken its toll on JC Slammer, however, as it appeared to have lost power, and it constantly got out-pushed by Warhead. By the end of the fight, it was barely moving. Warhead went through on a 29-16 Judges' decision, eliminating JC Slammer from the tournament.
