Ice Chip was a antweight robot built by Team Toad that entered in the jointly ran BattleBots/SERC BattleAnts event that ran during Season 5.0.
It was a two-wheeled, blue robot armed with a titanium plow and a steel spring wheelie bar, designed to prevent it from flipping over. It was the same design as the team's middleweight IceCube.
Michael Mauldin confirmed that Ice Cube entered into the competition, but was ultimately not selected to compete. Mauldin had mentioned he had hoped that it would fair well against all the competition's horizontal spinners.[1]
Ice Chip competed once after BattleBots at Lazy Toad Robot Conflict, which the team hosted.
