For the robot from Team HyperShock which debuted in World Championship I, see HyperShock.

"Well you see, it's very simple Big Bil. We've got the SPEED to run circles 'round the old Witch Doctor. We've got one of if not THE hardest hitting vertical spinners in all of BattleBots, and that's a fact. And by the time we're done smashing, and I mean absolutely SMASHING, the Witch Doctor? Man there's not gonna be enough voodoo on Earth to put 'em back together."
— Jeremy Ines introduces HyperShock before a match with Witch Doctor

HyperShock is one of twelve ShowBots which appears at BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon, the first BattleBots live event of its kind.

The showbot version of HyperShock is functionally identical to the most recent iteration which competed at World Championship VII. However, there are several changes with some being experimental and others being for the sake of durability. For drive, the ShowBots use the team's own HyperDrive motors as opposed to the NeuMotor 8038s which HyperShock adopted ahead of World Championship V.[1] The tips of its vertical spinner were also rounded off.

As with all other ShowBots, HyperShock is standardized to use OYES switches made by Team End Game, as well as lithium iron phosphate batteries as opposed to lithium polymer batteries to reduce the risk of hazardous fires during shows.[1]

For the very first Destruct-A-Thon show on February 4, 2023, HyperShock was driven by long-standing team member Gary Nguyen. Online content creator, model and actress Bella Hue later confirmed her inclusion with HyperShock for BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon events.[2] During the last weekend of May, Jamison Go, captain and driver of World Championship VII winner SawBlaze, came out to Destruct-A-Thon to meet the fans and partake in the show. During the Sunday show, Jamison drove HyperShock in the main event. He defeated the Witch Doctor ShowBot, driven by BattleBots co-founder Trey Roski, by crowd vote.

HyperShock most often fights in the show's Main Event, where it typically battles Witch Doctor. Though official records are not yet known publicly, the two are known to have a rather even competitive record against each other compared to other ShowBots. Jeremy Ines, who also serves as the speaker and captain of HyperShock exclusively for BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon, has also served as referee during various shows. When he is unavailable to do the interviews for the HyperShock team, it is typically teammate Bella Hue who takes over for him.

Towards the end of 2023, HyperShock was driven by Kaz Church.
