High Impact was a superheavyweight robot which competed in Season 4.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a four-wheeled robot armed with a gas-powered overhead blade. It didn't perform well in competition, losing its first and only battle against Abaddon in the first TV round.
The team that built High Impact originally built superheavyweight robot OJ for Season 3.0 (which did better).

High Impact vs. Abaddon After receiving a bye in the final preliminary round, High Impact went up against Abaddon in the first TV round. Abaddon won by KO at 2:38 and High Impact was eliminated from the tournament. Because it lost in the round of 64, High Impact couldn't participate the Superheavyweight Consolation Rumble at the end of the tournament. |
