Hamunaptra was a superheavyweight robot which competed exclusively in Season 2.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a tall, pyramid-shaped robot which was armed with two 12lbs spinning maces extending from its top. Despite being listed as a "non-flippable design"[1] it was turned over and defeated in its only battle in Season 2.0 to Donald Hutson's Diesector.
Hamunaptra did not compete in any other seasons of the show. However, Hamunaptra might've attempted to compete in Season 3.0 as it was included in the fan brochure that was handed out to audience members in attendance.[2] Mike Okerman of Gamma Brigade also was able to get a picture of it in The Pits at this competition. From this, it is shown to have mostly the same design but with larger "wrecking balls" instead of spiked maces.
Hamunaptra's name derived from the name of The City of the Dead in Stephen Sommer's The Mummy.
