Grunion was a lightweight robot which competed in Season 2.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was an invertible black and yellow colored box-shaped robot which was armed with a spinning bludgeoning weapon and multiple spikes on its back and sides. It performed decently in competition, reaching the Round of 32 of its only season.

Grunion vs. Serial Box Killer  Serial Box Killer gets underneath Grunion.  Grunion gets tossed by the killsaws Grunion's first match was against Serial Box Killer. In the beginning, Serial Box Killer got stuck underneath the spikestrip and Grunion tried to free Serial Box Killer. Serial Box Killer eventually got free and got its wedge underneath Grunion. Grunion managed to escape and got caught on the killsaws. Serial Box Killer was then counted out and Grunion won by knockout. |
Grunion vs. Beta Raptor   Grunion being lifted by Beta Raptor. In the next round, Grunion faced Beta Raptor. Early in the fight, Beta Raptor was charging at Grunion and started pushing it around. Grunion was unable to spin its wheels due to drivetrain slippage against the BattleBox floor, leaving it susceptible to being bullied around the arena. Beta Raptor was able to flip Grunion, who could no longer move. Grunion was counted out and Beta Raptor won by knockout. Grunion is not known to have competed in any lightweight rumbles. |
