Gremlin was a middleweight robot built by Team Duct Tape which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was an invertible, wedge-shaped robot with large wheels and no active weaponry. It did not perform well in competition, losing its first and only battle to front-hinged flipper Strange Brew.

Team Duct Tape also fought with lightweight Sublime, Knome and Knome II, as well as returning for the 2016 season on ABC with 250lb heavyweight robot Red Devil.
Outside BattleBots[]
The robot shares a name with Jerome Miles' lightweight, which fought at BotBash 1999. It placed eighth overall, competing with heavyweights despite being significantly lighter.

Gremlin vs. Strange Brew Gremlin's first match was against Strange Brew. When the match began, both bots rushed out, and Gremlin managed to get under a couple of times. Some time afterwards, Gremlin found itself on top of Strange Brew's flipper and got thrown into the air. When it landed, its supports for the radio receiver broke, rendering it incapacitated. With immobile, Strange Brew won by knockout and Gremlin was immediately eliminated. |
