The Golden Bolt is a performance-based award presented to the overall winner of BattleBots: Champions - an annual side series which follows each BattleBots World Championship tournament.
The inaugural Golden Bolt award was presented to World Championship V Giant Nut winner End Game, who entered the eight-robot tournament as the 2020 World Champion. There, it defeated Sin City Slugfest winner Ribbot, then-reigning World Champion Tantrum and season runner-up Witch Doctor to take home the Golden Bolt.
The Golden Bolt was again awarded to End Game after it defeated Sin City Slugfest winners Free Shipping and JackPot as well as current Giant Nut winner SawBlaze to defend its title.
