Glitter Princess was a heavyweight robot designed by Team GlitterBomb which applied for BattleBots World Championship V.
The robot's theme would have continued their line of bright, pink robots as seen with GlitterBomb in Series 8 of Robot Wars and their Clash Bots entry, Princess of Wales. However, it is not known how similar Glitter Princess may have been to either of their previous designs. Glitter Princess was listed on the BattleBook as a launcher.
Work on Glitter Princess began in late 2019, though it is unknown what state of completion Glitter Princess got to at the time of their application. Despite being accepted to compete, the team ultimately withdrew due to travel bans enforced by the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] The team posted a video explaining their intention to build for World Championship VI, but despite an image showing parts cut for their BattleBots entry, appearing to resemble a mouth with jagged teeth, no further updates were posted and it us unknown whether they ultimately applied again.
In January 2023, the team confirmed their plans on rebuild their Clash Bots heavyweight Princess of Wales, with the addition of a flamethrower.[2]
