Ginsu is one of twelve ShowBots which appears at BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon, the first BattleBots live event of its kind.

Built in late 2022, it is a modernized version of the iconic superheavyweight originally built by BattleBots co-founders Greg Munson and Trey Roski. The ShowBot Ginsu features a box-shaped chassis which is pivoted in the middle, allowing it to twist similar to a rock crawler. Much like its previous iterations, it has four large sawblades for wheels which ensure it can run inverted. These sawblades also serve as its primary weapons. Unlike previous versions, however, it sports thick pink armor as well as its classic polycarbonate top plates. Ginsu was largely built Hal Rucker of Team Black and Blue fame, who has notably competed with DUCK!, The Ringmaster and Marvin since 2016. Trey Roski also provided input towards its design.

According to Kyle Awner of HyperShock, Ginsu weighs upwards of 400lbs and is the largest and heaviest of the ShowBots. In many of its appearances, Ginsu has a slot machine attached in place of one of its drive modules, where it then fights Nightmare. In this state, the saw blades are sometimes replaced with traditional wheels.[2]

During the July 5, 2023 show, Slot Machine (attached to Ginsu) would beat Nightmare for the first time after its opponent became immobilized in front of the drivers' booths.
